Queens Day rummage sale
Hello, friends! How are you all doing today, the last day of April. My goodness, don’t you agree that the time flies by so fast? Tomorrow it’s already May! It’s hashtag CRAY! And that rhymes too! I am such a poet!
Anyway, today was kinda a tiring day. Today was the final Queens Day that we’re having here in Holland. Because our beloved Queen stepped off the throne and passed her throne to her son. So, that means we now have a King! You know, besides myself…
Since Holland is filled with festivities and stuff, I went to stand on a rummage sale or flea market, whatever you want to call it, together with my mom and dad. We woke up at 5am and got a good spot when we arrived at 6am. There were already loads of people setting up their spot to sell their junk. But we managed to get a good spot.
We had old stuff for sale like DVD players, old children’s books, bowls and plates and some kitchen related stuff. All selling it for a cheap price. Most of the stuff like books and things we sold for below 2 Euros. We sold several books from when I was younger. Also, we sold two DVD players and a stereo amplifier for 7,50 Euros. So, it was nice we made a little bit of cash. Because it was Queens Day, everyone was able to have a spot to sell their junk for free!
It was fortunate that the rummage sale ended at 1pm. The weather was dry, but it wasn’t really very warm outside. A couple of times I took a little walk and browsed around through the city and checking out what other people were selling. It was fun!
Here are some random pictures of today.
Alright, that’s all for now. I hope everyone is having an awesome day! Ta-ta for now :)
