A day for ice cream

Hello, everyone! :)

How is everyone doing at the moment? Hoping everything is going great for all of you! I'm doing good. I decided to post another blog for and share my Wednesday with you. The weather was great and warm! Sun was shining bright and it was a shorts, t-shirt and flip-flops kind of day. I went to my lovely parents and hang there. I was suppose to help them clean up their basement, but that didn't go through, because my mom is kind of a hoarder and the basement is just too cluttered with junk. It is so bad you cannot even walk in the basement. So, cleaning up the basement has been postponed until further notice, LOL!

Before I left the house I had a little private cam whore moment. LOL. Rehab is for quitters… one of my favorite t-shirts! :)

When I went to Delft I decided that I would just walk from the train station to my parents, instead of having my dad pick me up. It's roughly a half hour walk. I mean, why not, right? The weather was gorgeous! I passed the Technical University of Delft and took some overcooked HDR snapshots! It's very art like, don't you think so?

I use this app on my iPhone called Dynamic Light and you can create awesome looking pictures like these. Look at the one above, I so love this effect! It seems so surreal!

Ah, the Technical University of Delft! The place where I don't belong and never will. LOL.

This is the university libraby! Another nice shot, if I may say so myself :) The roof of this building is like a grass hill. From the other side you can just walk on the roof. A lot of people were laying in the grass getting a tan. Ah, what a student life. I will take a picture of the other side some other time.

When I was at my folks, it was obviouysly time for another cam whore session… with mom! LOL. And I am going totally Asian on you throwing peace signs in your face!! LOL :)

Okay, yesterday, I came across this website where they post pictures of people making a duck face, and basically make fun of them saying it's not sexy at all. I couldn't help myself and make a few duck faces, just for the hell of it. LOL

So, my parents and I went out and strolled around in the city of Delft. They needed to buy a new frying pan. We took a little stop and got ourselves some ice cream and we sat on a bench on the side of one of the many canals in Delft. It was lovely :)

LOL, mom needs to eat her ice cream much faster!! She was making a mess like a little child eating ice cream LOL!!

I had a good day today with the folks. When I  got home I was so tired, because I didn't sleep very well the night before. I took a little nap! Well, little isn't actually the correct word, since my nap lasted for like 5 hours! LOL. I sooo needed that! I was on the phone with Colin last night. I feel so bad for him not  having power for six days now, because of the storm that hit them last Friday and again two nights ago! Wishing him all the best and hoping that he, and thousands of other people, will have power again real soon!

Also, to all my American friends, I wish you all a great 4th of July, from a silly Dutchie from Holland. I hope you all have a great time celebrating!! I still I feel bad that thousands of people aren't able to celebrate it to the fullest, including my boyfriend, but I sure hope they will make the best of it!
